Portals can be a tremendous tool for your employees, partners and customers as they bring all the relevant content and applications together. A portal project similarly requires the strategy, coordination and aggregation of ideas in order to achieve success. Our workshop approach, fine-tuned over nine years, sets your project off on the right track. Not only will we set a technical and functional direction, but the key stakeholders and business owners will leave feeling that their ideas were heard and incorporated into an enterprise-wide strategy.
You don't know what you don't know. That's why IntraSee not only builds a foundation for a portal project in our workshop, but we also spend time on education. Learn about industry trends, common risks and what has worked for other organizations. Enterprise 2.0 can work for you and we will show you how in this workshop
The business community demands that IT rapidly launch its new product offerings. IT has struggled to keep up with these expectations due to differences in the enterprise systems that they support. Today, standards like SOA and WOA, and concepts like Cloud Computing, can provide seamless touch points between disparate systems. The end result is a low maintenance framework that allows IT to react swiftly to the needs of the business community.
To achieve project success, you need to have clear direction and a solid plan. This begins by soliciting input from all key stakeholders and users. IntraSee will tailor its workshop agenda to you and focus your organization on building consensus around your objectives to create a solution that meets everyone's needs. Throughout the entire process we'll apply best practice solutions combined with innovation and pragmatism.
IntraSee's workshops are customized to our clients' needs. We offer a two-to-four-day session that generates high-level designs, strategies and project planning. We also offer deep-dive workshops that produce detailed design documents. The time frame of the deep-dive workshop varies depending on the scope of the project.
The Portal workshop produces a findings document which includes a high-level design along with multiple strategies and recommendations. Accompanying that document is a high-level project plan that can be used to budget, staff and plan your project. We also offer an option to completely visualize the solution with sophisticated visual compositions, such that everyone can easily understand what they are agreeing to, and the benefits can be easily explained to executives and departments alike.
"Sharing knowledge is not about giving people something, or getting something from them. That is only valid for information sharing. Sharing knowledge occurs when people are genuinely interested in helping one another develop new capacities for action; it is about creating learning processes."

IntraSee has been great to work with. They not only helped us develop our latest HR site, but they continue to contribute to its improvement. The teams we've worked with are smart, flexible and have helped us take the portal to the next level. The tools IntraSee provided allowed our SMEs to take ownership of the employee experience which means quicker changes and improved service to our employees.
