OpenWorld 2010 Here We Come!

IntraSee is excited about our annual appearance at Oracle OpenWorld. Not only is it the premier Enterprise Software conference with almost 50,000 attendees, but we will have two exciting presentations this year. Oracle has asked us to highlight how customers can take their PeopleSoft to the next level and infuse Enterprise 2.0 methods into their deployments. We have one session aimed at the strategic angles of rolling out Web 2.0 and one session which will walk through how you can use PeopleSoft tools today to improve your self-service apps. Snippets of the sessions are included below, but first we have an exciting announcement...

Announcing IntraSee's Content Strategy Workshop

It has been said that "design without content is just decoration". Too often web sites are built without any regard for how the digital content should be integrated into the user experience. Content shouldn't be an afterthought, it should be the first thought.

That's why IntraSee has created its brand new Content Strategy Workshop. Read all about our new workshop at http://www.intrasee.com/content_strategy_workshop.php.

OpenWorld Session 1:
Setting an Enterprise 2.0 Strategy with PeopleSoft Portal

A recent 2010 Gartner survey found Web 2.0 to be a top 3 technology priority while process improvement was the top priority in the business. Marry those two priorities and you have Enterprise 2.0, a major focus for many organizations in 2010. This session will help you determine what it takes to become Enterprise 2.0 capable. We will show you how you can create an Enterprise 2.0 strategy by bringing your self-service, content, and processes all together with the PeopleSoft portal. Your portal can be as intuitive as Internet sites like Facebook or Google. You can use social networking in the workplace to help your employees get their jobs done more effectively, plus put in place controls so that HR can easily manage risk. All with the PeopleSoft portal.

OpenWorld Session 2:
Bring Your PeopleSoft Applications to Life with Web 2.0

Traditional ERP applications are the essence of Web 1.0: single-threaded, no context and no collaboration. Bring your applications up to today's Internet standards by deploying them within a robust portal framework and incorporating Web 2.0 capabilities. We'll show how many customers have greatly improved PeopleSoft by deploying popular Web 2.0 techniques. Imagine a business process that walks users through each transaction step-by-step. Imagine wiki capabilities where your subject experts are the ones controlling content, not the IT department. Imagine users helping other users via discussion threads, ratings, comments, tweets and more. Imagine your users improving their access to application content using tags.
