IntraSee at IHRIM 2010!

IntraSee is excited to announce we will be attending the IHRIM 2010 Conference and Technology Exposition. With an eye towards the future we will be holding two sessions focusing on how to enhance your Enterprise experience. We will also be discussing the effects of social-networking on the changing HR landscape, but more importantly how to get ahead of the curve and start taking advantage of Web 2.0 today.

IHRIM Session 1:
Implementing Web 2.0 Concepts in Your Organization

Your employees and managers are currently using sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Wikipedia to learn, interact, and share on the Internet. Meanwhile your current HR self-service systems are light years away from the same kind of functionality, interaction and experience expected from an Internet based solution. Current HR self-service features are seen as archaic and confusing by the people using them. In this session you’ll learn how to enhance the UI of your portal to make it equal to the top Internet sites, how social networking in the workplace can help your employees get their jobs done more effectively, and how controls can be put in place so that you can easily manage what can be collaborated on and by who in your HR system.

Did you know?
"We will not only see that existing ERP solutions need to change, but the business processes will have to be re-designed as well. The problem here is that ERP vendors and buyers move so slow that they might miss the whole revolution, and get stuck in the old paradigm. This issue is critical for Talent Management and Learning Management solutions. The HR processes dealing with Competencies, Skills and Training as well as Recruiting, Career and Succession Planning will be affected by this new way of work to the point that they will be forced to incorporate social networking."

IHRIM Session 2:
Wild Symbols: Using Web 2.0 and Other Technologies in HR

With the ever increasing demand for a more robust and interactive web experience, the use of Web 2.0 is quickly becoming the norm. The common usage of social networking solutions such as Facebook and Twitter as a means of communicating and interacting are beginning to have a greater impact within the workforce. As the next generation of technology users are entering the marketplace and other workforces are linking into newer technology, learn how to increase your odds of adoption and success by leveraging this newer technology.
