Come see us at HEUG Alliance 2012!

IntraSee is excited to be exhibiting and presenting at this year's Alliance conference in Nashville. We've continued to hear about students wrestling with self service; the tools are delivered but lack the usability today's students expect. This doesn't have to be the case at your school! We can show you Student Self Service through a robust, dynamic Web 2.0 experience. Stop by our booth for a chat and a demo. Also, come to our session on Tuesday morning. We'll be talking about the student experience as we catch up with University of Missouri on the portal they previewed in our session last year. You won't want to miss this!

Our booth is #527, right on the main walkway through the exhibitor hall. Look forward to seeing you! Also, follow us on Twitter - @intrasee - before, during and after the conference for the latest updates.

Alliance Session
The Student Experience Reinvented:
Course Search, Student Center and a Great UI

Students are enrolled to learn and far too often technology gets in the way of that. PeopleSoft’s user interface and design can be a roadblock to those users. We will go through some common ways to improve the student experience and get them connected to learning faster.

With new students enrolling every term, there is no time for a “figuring it out” stage. They need to get in and get their tasks done quickly. We will focus on a couple of examples of how to do this with PeopleSoft and do it without customization.

We will show how you can improve the course catalog and course search using portal technology and Web 2.0 principles. The next example will be a different look at how a “Student Center” should look, act and integrate to LMS systems. Finally, we will show how to add the finishing touches on the overall UI by using modern web design techniques in a brand that reinforces your university’s image and culture.

Product Spotlight
Alerts

IntraSee Alerts allow your organization to quickly publish information and activities directly to users when they need it! Alerts can be sent directly to targeted users, avoiding mass screen clutter for everyone else. When an alert is available for a user the alert notice is displayed at the top of the screen, giving fingertip access to all details the user needs. Alerts can be dismissed or saved by each user. This is truly a must have feature to add to your system!

Trends

Standard web analytics will only tell you what pages a user looks at. IntraSee Trends is next-generation analytics that immediately impact the user experience. Trends provides dynamic navigation based on what similar users are finding and using, all in real-time without need of complex technical involvement. What's hot now and what's hot amongst people like you!
